Musk is not doing an hyperloop. His company is only using a tunnel system for cars. Which may or might not be advantageous because it can also create traffic jams inside it.

HYperloop uses MAGLEV (Magnetic Levitation using the concept of opposing magnetic forces) first written up in a POPULAR SCIENCE magazine in late 1960 (maybe 68 if I remember right) or early 1970. But to say that this technology was ORIGINALLY written by Elon Musk is utter BS.

Hyperloop will only be used for cargo. Do people realize how much will 1100 kmh impact the human body? (Even in a fast car you will stick to the seat because of the velocity)
