If you don't need the extra Mic inputs, is there a reason to take this one over the iD22?

Hi, I'm considering audio interface upgrade... I'm thinking between Audient iD44 and Focusrite Clarett 8Pre USB. Regardless of the number of inputs/outputs, how are these two in comparison regarding sound quality, mic preamps and latency? Most of the time I'm recording guitar (the amp is mic'd with Shure SM57) and vocals. It's important to me to be able to do mix monitoring between input (direct) and DAW playback. Thanks in advance!

Would you use this for live shows? I use I’d 4 it gives me the chance of use the 2 inputs for instruments plus the sounds from the Xpander 2 from protools and the possibility of use some waves plugins isn’t it cool ? What do you think?

Between the ID44 and the apollo which one would you go for?
I'm mainly more interested in the quality of the converters and preamps.

USB-C? That the socket type but is it USB 3.1 or Thunderbolt 3?

Looking forward to hearing more about this.... Are the 2 headphones, and 2 stereo outputs all separate streams? I like to have 4x monitors, and 2 stereo headphones. And could they be mapped to ADAT IN 1-8? I have an RME RayDAT card and I'm sick of having 3 x rack units for inputs and outputs on my desk. I've been looking at the Antelope Discrete 4 but I have no care for mic modelling. I want to keep my PCIe RME as my sound device and I like the sound of my Audient Mico. Fingers crossed this could be the one...
