This high school football team broke out into cheers when one of their coaches proposed to his girlfriend on the field following a recent game.
Coach Jacob Walls says neither his fiancée Emily nor the Benjamin Russell Wildcats knew the proposal was coming, but told Storyful ‘what better way to celebrate’ the occasion than the team’s ‘best finish in years.’
He also said that the team has become extremely close with Emily’s son and ‘having them with him on his special moment was something he won’t soon forget.’
