This LEGO piece is NOT more rare than Mr Gold - DON'T BE FOOLED

DON'T BE FOOLED - Why would somebody think that I think that the LEGO® Red Brick (part number 3001) is rare? Especially in red? No need to comment that it's not rare. Everybody already knows that.

For vintage and new Lego reviews, hauls, and more

See 7:24 on that video.

This is me acting facetiously. I love the word "facetiously" because it has all the vowels in alphabetical order.

Are people really not getting the joke?

2 years of "DON'T BE FOOLED" being ignored in the title

Should I give away the brick when the video gets to 100k views? Problem is I don't know which of the 10000 2x4 red bricks I have it was :(

A better question is why would any body believe it?

What part of "Don't be fooled" do people not understand? Do I need to highlight all the 2x4 red bricks that are in the video? Lol

Watch the whole video before leaving a comment that indicates that you didn't

If you think I am stupid it is not me, it is you

OK - since half of you keep getting fooled, I decided to put the punchline as the thumbnail. If you still don't get it then there is no help for you

The comments seem to go in waves of people that get it, then waves of people that don't. Don't be fooled. I guess it's like telling somebody "Don't look!" They look every time

I was equally disappointed to learn tonight that my orange brick separator isn’t a limited edition insert. Dang it.

It makes you wonder why people don't figure that out, especially at the end when I show the bins with 1000's of red 2x4 bricks.

Thanks! I made this because sometimes people don't realize I am joking when I say something in a video meant to be funny. So, hopefully this was obvious.

The thousands of red 2x4 bricks that I show in the video should offer a big clue.

Yes - that's right! I was a little mad about a comment that got posted on an earlier video where some kid thought I was stupid for thinking a 2x4 brick is rare. You would think with all the TV shows with smart-alec kids that more people would recognize sarcasm. Anyway, thanks for watching!

Will this get 1000 comments or 100, 000 views first? Wait - half of the comments are me - lol

That is the whole point of the joke. In the original video we were talking about actual rare parts and my son jokingly called a 2x4 brick rare, then we had somebody call us stupid for not knowing that it is not rare. So I made this video. I have been collecting for 40 years and have tens of thousands of red 2x4 bricks, probably the most common Lego element ever made. If you see the end of this video a show two large drawers full of only 2x4 red bricks.

This video is a reference to a comment made in Lego Haul #4 which prompted some kid to tell me we didn't know our facts when my son sarcastically showed a 2x4 brick and said it was rare. The comment is still there on the video (link to video is in the description above). There was no purchase made. The handwriting on the orange paper is mine. It is all a joke. I have to explain it everyday now. Check out the comments on this video. 2x4 red brick is probably the most common Lego element ever made
