Hi Darren....very late for a comment about this GERMAN multimeter (written on the box, on the notice, on the backside of the meter, Lidl and german control are reliable for that) produced by Targa Gmbh 59494 Soest Germany.
Why a comment now? Simply because I used this old meter since 7 years, well... only for AC-DC values, control of my 220V installation and a lot of different cells and batteries (what most people do with a multimeter).
It never failed with accurate values and with the original leads. Fully reliable after 7 years.
1/10 sec to get the continuity-beep...OK, no time for opening a beer. Not perfect but absolutely no problem, just a little angry to change the lead position for this control....And I don't know if it really needs current to run : the included 9V cell was good till 2017...but still perfect beep and values.
Well, completely out of order for electronics geeks, but still pleasant Vintage meter and very easy to use for common usual values. I change it only because I give it to my son for his house renovation (he had an horrible tiny chinese matchbox with inaudible beep)
Friendly, Michel.

I thinkPowerfix is a brand unique to budget German supermarket chain LIDL. I have got screwdriver set for £5 and a set of try squares for £6.

Hi Darren... great video.. I have this same multimeter.. can it be used for a parasitic draw test on a car battery.. most guides say to turn dial to 10a under DC Volts.. but only see 10a socket to plug probe into.. can you give any guidance thanks
