Girl I'm ready to put mine up too lol ...and that fireplace projector on your wall is beautiful I have a real fire place but I hate the black and white marble around it we never use it we've lived here 21 years in out house i was 19 when me and my husband bought our home and we used it once that winter and once 3 years later it hasn't been used since then lol I knew how change it out and put a like I don't know what u call it lol but like a step on the fire place where u could sit things on it and stuff I would build that cause it doesn't have one its just even with the floor and I hate it lol ....but one day I hope were able to buy a bigger house on some land not when a bigger house it can be the same size honestly but just some land not in a neighborhood anymore ....lol ...anyway that's so beautiful Jaz

I work in a grocery store and Christmas really stresses me out so much but putting my tree up with my child and my boyfriend calms me.
My child still believes in Santa because I go all out when it comes to keeping the belief alive. I love the spirit and magic of Christmas. I just hate the commercialism of it which has gotten worse over the 20+ years I've worked in retail.

Me and my kids (19 and 23) started doing “experiences” vs gifts a few years ago. Sometimes we travel, see a concert or a play, etc. I’ll generally still get them the basics ..PJs, underwear, jackets, etc because I don’t trust them to buy these things for themselves.

I'm the same way! There's something about the Christmas season 🤎 We just pulled our tree out today and I bought some new decorations from Dollar Tree to add to what I already have lol. Dollar Tree is the spot for Christmas decor!!

My daughter is getting a full-size keyboard. I wanna get her a piano, but I do have neighbors. Also, she’s getting into fashion, so I’m getting her a real digital sewing machine. My sister got her a finger piano. We’re seeing The Color Purple on Christmas morning and then a big seafood dinner as usual for Christmas. Oh, she’s 23.

I feel you Jazz. I feel the same way about Christmas that’s one of the reasons why I decided to no longer celebrate any holiday that put so much stress on me financially and mentally. I said that we will begin to celebrate Kwanza for 7 days and learnt the importance of the 7 principals. They will get a gift for each day and wa la. lol But yes I love the holiday times as well especially the Christmas season. It makes me feel so warm, fuzzy and happy inside like a kid. ❤❤❤
