Armor, cuirass works from skills, about 1 skill adds additional physical protection. So the comparison is not fair.

Counters of blade armor:
Malefic roar: 35% ~ 55% penetrates defense

Counters of antique cuirass
DHS: deals 9% additional damage (based on enemy max health)

Antique Cuirass counters burst physical damage (from skills), while Blade Armor counters basic attack physical damage. That's why Miya with Blade Armor won.

Only reflects basic attacks and crit damages

Antique Cuirass -
Only reduce enemy target's physical attack when the user got hit with a skill

Dominance Ice -
When the user got damaged, the enemy target's speed attack, heal effect and shield effect will be reduced

Blade armor and dominance ice can counter spell vamp and lifesteal, unless the enemy use malefic to recounter the def build.

these are very helpful tips, but still return to the skills of each player..

While this is the case the issue is well, blade armour focuses purely on physical defence, 0 hp boosts which your not only gonna face physical opponents, teams usually have at least 2 magic attackers as well and as you saw blade armour was barely better for physical anyway

Antique Cuirass is for countering physical dps heroes that mainly deal damage with their skills and not basic attacks bruh!!!
