Smile 2 Movie Reaction - We are just leaving the theater after watching Smile 2. This movie gets really crazy by the final act. I'll have a bunch more to say in my full review but here are the quick first impressions.

I’ve heard you compare Smile to It Follows a few times now. While I agree there are similarities, I think Smile is much more akin to Fallen with Denzel Washington. Either way, I’m a fan of all the aforementioned movies

The first film was a big surprise for me. I think Smile works as both a psychological thriller and horror.. I'll give the second one a watch tomorrow. Smile reminds me more of Case 39 with Renee Zelweger and Bradley Cooper.

I feel like I am the outsider b/c I just never got into Smile 1 and I cannot even tell you exactly why. Seems like a semi 'mixed bag' from both of you.

I actually liked the first movie. Haven't seen the second one yet. But if it's better than the first, it should be enjoyable

Just saw it, was pretty boring. First five minutes was fun. The actress overacted and her drinking the water was extremely over the top and stupid. Be prepared for 69 choreographed jump scares with the same crap they always do with blasting the music and bass for a amateur cheap scare. This is done like 69 times.

Watch "It Follows". That guy knows what he's talking about. Smile was awful. Maybe I'll check this out by illegally streaming it.
