Despite the fact that the sounds of the course crackles and other types of lung sounds scares and creeps the holy hell out of me, I can’t help but to say that this channel is very beneficial to me because I can understand what is going on in my lungs when a doctor or nurse Listens to them through a stethoscope when I go into an appointment or if I’m staying at a hospital for a certain reason. Unfortunately, I have congestive heart failure, and I had pneumonia once and I can understand a whole lot more about what crackles are and how it sounds and how it happens as well as what causes them.

i’m 16 and this just started happening. but my years of being 14 and 15 through some months my heart would feel like a knife is going through it every time i took a breath. i’m scared for my life because course crackles are apart of a heart disease. may god bless y’all ...

Another thing that happens when I think I have the coarse crackles is when I’m laying down to either rest or take a nap or go to sleep, the sound of the crackly clicking sound when I breathe in and out will occur as well. It’ll be more sharp and more audible and slightly louder if I lay on my left side, and that truly bothers me! The crackly sound when I breathe in and out will be at the most prominent when I wake up or if for some reason my mouth gets really really dry.

The coarse crackles happens to me constantly and every day and every night if I’m awake. It will prominently occur when I get really short of breath, and when I breathe out, it will come out as a rapid clicking sound or a clicking sound followed by a squeaky noise That is behind it. That is because I have congestive heart failure. I have that same creepy clicking sound when I breathe in on occasion as well. I came to the conclusion that the clicking crackling sound when I breathe in and out is the sound that it makes to form the physical version of the crackles that’s in my lungs.

I have a question. When someone has coarse crackles in the lungs and when they breathe out through the mouth and it makes a clattering/clicking/crackly sound when it happens, is it because the coarse crackles is occurring in the lungs and it’s generating an actual Physical sound of them when that person breathes out through their mouth? I want to know this because I go through this all the time whenever I have slight issues with my congestive heart failure.

If you have a "crackles" condition, is it constant? Or can it be intermittent with some breaths making no noise?

I deal with something like this from my chronic allergies. I only get this breathing in.
