i love that this guy actually drives his cars and doesn't let them just sit in a museum and actually uses it as it was meant to be used

One of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen in my 60 years. A trip to his museum was just added to my bucket list.

One of the most beautiful cars ever built.  The interior is truly amazing. Thanks for giving us a look at it.

Jay, this without a doubt this is my favorite all time car. It is beautiful beyond description. I remember when I was a kid and saw a Lincoln Zephyr in a garage in Petaluma Ca. I thought it was this car. I was young and dumb but  I was young. I so enjoy your web casts. For an old gentleman like me who is not wealthy but an avid car fans it's like I actually  get to experience these wonderful pieces of art. Thank you so much. John

Rest in piece! He passed away two days ago, which coincidentally is when I started seriously considering planning a trip to visit the museum.

I love this episode, I've watched it several times. It's an absolutely spectacular car, and the look on the old guys face when the transmission doesn't work is priceless. It worked before Jay lol

This is the first car i've seen on the show that i can't stop looking at. Very beautiful design and lines, like a gorgeous woman in a fitted dress

What a cherry of a car. The Tear Drop design is un equaled in it's styling and attention to detail. So glad you were able to share this.

The pre select gear box sounds cool. I was disappointed it didn't work and it looked like Peter was frustrated about it not working also. but that's the life of a car enthusiast, something like this seems to always go wrong especially at special times like this when Jay Leno is driving your car... Beautiful car btw.

Most beautiful cars ever made. I had a book of the worlds greatest cars as a child back in the 1970's and I'd stare at a picture of a light blue colored Talbot Lago for hours. I decided then that this was absolutely the best looking car ever made, and I still do consider it that way.

Figoni and Falaschi created some of the most stunning artworks in automotive history, with achingly beautiful designs. If you think something like this is amazing in a video, it pales in comparison to witnessing in person. I've been fortunate enough to see some of these very artworks at a few Concours events, and they're just drop-dead gorgeous. I've even seen the 1939 Delahaye shown on the turntable in the brief footage of Mr. Mullin's museum, which also made an appearance in one of the Transformers movies. These Figoni and Falaschi designs always attract enormous crowds at such events, as you might well imagine.

I agree it’s fantastically beautiful! I love Art Deco anyway and this design is pure magic. It simply flows.

I agree with Jay, you MUST go to The Mullin Automotive Museum.

I was in Oxnard for work and had a few hours off, so on a whim I called over and found out that they "are not open to the public" but I did pay an admission fee and was included on a tour.  There were three of us on the tour with a docent taking us around.

The display was only Bugatti's and WOW was it worth

I will go back on my next work trip as the display will have changed by then.

Peter,

Thank you for your museum and a HUGE thank you for bringing a car for Jay to show us here on  I LOVE to see the cars

Sorry Jay but no one's going to confuse this for a new concept car. It looks like a 30's era car and that's ok. It doesn't have to be timeless to be beautiful.

That car is a beauty. That dashboard and that design are amazing. I like classic cars better than new ones.

Peter probably got in it afterwards and it worked fine. I can just see him driving off, shaking his head and muttering "Damned kid..."  :)

Truly a rolling work of art, the Talbot-Lago was always my favorite of the art cars alongside the Delahaye
