I am just learning about servos after a few minutes of googling I think there are some things wrong with this test. The distance the weight is attached on the servo arm matters. At 1cm it might be able to lift 20kg, but at 2cm it would then be 10kg. Also, the torque rating is a stall torque. So the servo can't lift that much weight if you help the weight a few inches off the ground, the servo could keep hold it there.

Nice demo. I had no idea a 25kg servo could move so much weight.

You must take into account the distance from the pinion to the arm that supports the load, if for example it is 5cm, it would be 25kg*cm/ 5cm, that is to say it would support just the 5kg, in addition your power supply must be good and deliver enough current... Excellent video editing, I loved it

Hello nice job, this a digital or analog servo ?

To rotate a aluminum flag pole, how much torque would you need? The pole will weight about 5 lbs and be 5 feet tall.

I have the same motor but at 150kg, it works at 10 A at maximum load, what cables could I use?? And above all, how do I connect them to the servo since he has the plug for the Jumpers? Thank you very much

What is the working voltage and current required to run this high torque servo motor?

Que amperaje requiere ese servomotor para funcionar a su capacidad media?

Mg 995 servo motor needs voltage supply from 4.8 to 7.2 volts, Can I use two 18650 li batteries which give 7.6 volts?

This test is not adequate. You cannot draw enough power from the arduino 5V to power this servo fully, an arduino uno can suply about 500ma at 5v, which is probably 30% of the amperage required. You must also take in to account the lever arm length. 25kg-cm is equivalent to 12.5kg-2cm.

Nice video. Please I want to control about 10 servos, of this kind, I also want to send commands from the arduino board, how do I go about it?

i tried working with a 15kg-cm torgue servo and cant lift a 1.5kg cantilever beam at all.. am i doing somethign wrong is it how it is? i would love to know the answer

Many errors on ur probe. First, the distance considered initially affects to the load of the servo. So, u need to consider that variable and then, for that distance (2.8cm) it shouldnt show any problem lifting that load, it lifts almost 9kg for that distance precisely.

Guys I need an urgent answer
Does it get the command and the power directly from the arduino with no driver in between????!

I am 0 exp about this but I think the problem was from the Max power that the Andruino can supply! As I know the max Amp and Volt that the Anduino can supply will be way lower for this kind of servo need to be at it's "fully operational". May be I am wrong because if this is true then I 'll will need to research again for my "thruster project".

Does this use the same arduino code as the tower pro servo?
