So I did some research and apparently the H5 was designed to work with Apple products. This would explain why most people using an android can't get it to interface.

There are some androids that it will work with but it's far and few between. So could you please let us know what model of phone you were using in this video?

I have a cheap vrx10 Rodes shotgun mic connected to my phone's usb. I'm using it to record live music practice rehearsals but it doesn't really work that good. It gets distorted easily with barely any volume. I know about recording with a DAW and all of that but I'm looking for a good live recording option. Do you have any recommendations for capturing both good audio and video?
