Arduino Deep Dive - Digital Input and Output - Analog Input - PWM Output - Simply Put

This video covers the most common functions of the Arduino Uno as it's normally used: Reading and writing digital logic signals, reading analog signals (ADC), and outputting PWM signals. The device does way more than just that, which I'll cover in the future, but this is the "meat and potatoes".

I just discovered your channel, and I just love your videos! I feel like you are sharing the information and understanding I really want (which is rare for any electronics videos that I've seen). Keep making these great videos!

Got a couple of arduino nanos in the car (because if you're not jerry-rigging random stuff in your car, you're missing out), and I decided that rigging up a solenoid via a solid-state relay on D13 would be efficient, because... free LED.
It worked perfectly. And every time it booted up when I turned on the car, it worked perfectly, to the amusement of the neighbours.

...I rewired it to D12.
D0 and D1 exist only for pain. So does D13. Recommend dtatus LEDs only on that line.

Hello dude with large beard in video. Wanted to ask you this question because it seems like you respond to people who comment on your video.

I’ve just got an Arduino nano

I would like to know with some of your advice is it possible to have three separate 12 V positive wires going to the input of the Arduino.

What I would like to do is have some sort of code running so when the Arduino detects 1, 2 or 3 12v input

To individually run a piece of code

Basically I want to give 12 vaults. To the Arduino and in response I want the Arduino to output some code to illuminate an LED strip in either red green or blue depending on which 12 vaults the Arduino receives

im using an arduino nano, you said that you shouldnt use too many LEDs or it will blow out the pins? I have 8 leds connected to 8 pins, should I be concerned? If i add more LEDs will my arduino fry?
