Great video man! I actually didn't mind the background music. I wouldn't mind that in future videos too.

I know I'm going to seen as "old fashioned" and "dated" by making this request, but I would really like to a Cisco Sal "What's New Video" with regards to Cisco's UCC product line (Call Manager, Unity Connection, current 8800 IP phones and other IP phone series). The product is not dead, it's still used a lot in the world and I always appreciated when you gave us updates and tips on the latest with this product line. Might be hard to do now if you don't have a demo/lab system any more, but that's what I always like to see.

Been a Ubiquiti installer for a bit and just tired of the lack of support, lack of getting all their product lines to be Cloud Managed. Plus like other trying to get product is a nightmare! So I just purchased my first Meraki Go setup for a client of mine and set it up yesterday. Simple GX50 Firewall, GR10 WAP and GS110-8P Switch. For the life of me I cannot figure out where to go to setup a static IP Address from the ISP!!! When I go into the spot that I think it should be and enter all the info it doesn’t connect as I keep getting Alerting in red. I have called ISP to assure the Modem is set to Bridge and it is. Something simple like this should not be difficult at all but still struggling here. Any advise would be helpful. I have access of it if course from the WebPortal. This is a sticking point now, plus on the GX50 there are not PoE ports like you mentioned on this video, thank goodness I purchased the 8 Port Switch to light up the WAP. Let me know Sal thank you

I didn't see any firewall settings, only saw port forwarding. Also, can you set up client SSL VPN with this? What about S2S Tunnels?

Hi Sal, sorry if this is a repeat, but I have a question. I have a small media office, and I want to connect 10GbE NAS to 3 10GbE computers. Will the Meraki Go work as follow?

Having ISP router, then Meraki Go Gx20 then use Cisco Business CBS220-24T-4X Smart Switch then connect GR10 access point for (Staff and guest WiFi access) and using the rest of 10G ports for my NAS and computers and cameras for Synology Surveillance?

Please assist if this will work well.

Dear Sal, I'm thinking of Buying the Meraki GO switch GS110-8 stand-alone for my home. I currently have a Netgear Gigaswitch since about 10 years now and was thinking of renovating. Basically I'm running my new ROG gaming pc through a docking station and also have a NAS connected to the switch. Therefore as you showed with the dashboard i need to add the new hardware but do I also need to add the network? or will it pop up on it's own on the Dashboard? In General what advice can you give me? do you think the Meraki go switch is overkill for a home network? I just wanted something secure.

Installed the GX20 and GR10's. The app is frequently buggy. Stats are incorrect, links dont work, hangs. But when it works, its pretty good. The devices themselves are easy to install. Not many options on the GX20. Gr10's range is decent and throughput is good. VERY easy to integrate the same eco devices which is nice for a fast deployment. Maybe a 7/10.

Have you installed the Meraki Go Umbrella Security License? Wondering if its worth another $100/yr.

Any VPN support for Meraki Go? I could see many use cases for this, but VPN support would be a deal-breaker.

Too bad the meraki go SG caps out at 250 mbps. Not a single client I service has anything less that 500 meg internet. So installing that would cut their speeds in half or better.

Just don't like the security gateway's specs. It's awful. I love the switches and APs.
