Trade war = lose lose situation where companies search for new partners to protect themselves = if tomorrow the trade war ends, the damage is already done (because certain people will already lose the partnerships for a long time and maybe for life).

I generally like Tester, but for him to say that it is unrealistic for employers to pay a livable wage shows a lack of the "common sense" that he's talking about. Obviously he thinks that the current broken economic system that favors owner profits over worker wages is "common sense."
