I don't think Cider makes any of their own clothes, and people have found some of their items to be dropshipped from Ali Express, which would explain why the sizing/quality/pictures differ so much.

I love the idea of a preorder model to avoid waste and that it is inclusive but I find the lack of information while touting they are being more sustainable suspect. Cider needs to start disclosing more information about how, where, and by whom its items are produced, as well as the materials used. Thank you, Sierra for trying it on because I suspected it was very hit or miss and now knowing that too, I’m steering clear.

Sierra, I'm a thirteen year old girl with some big hips and shoulders and a tummy. Most if my friends are smaller and shorter then me, and I'm struggling to love my body and the way I look. No one has ever said anything to make me feel this way, they always try to hype me up if I'm feeling insecure, my mom is the same size as you have she tries to make sure I love myself. But it really helps to see you, and influencer who loves herself and is curvy. A lot of times when I watch clothing reviews I think I won't look good in those cute clothes, but you're even curvyer then I am and you look so beautiful in all these clothes💕 thank you for showing me that everyone is perfect and beautiful

It sucks because they have such cute stuff but I don’t know enough about their impact. Just like Shein, I look but don’t buy because I can’t justify it. When I thrift I try to find similar items so I still get trendy items

I haven’t watched the video yet, but I wanted to mention that Cider is just like Shein and steals tons of designs from small businesses. They’re just a little bit smarter when it comes to marketing and they make it seem like they’re just “curating” items to specific aesthetics. Ultimately, it’s just another fast fashion brand with no ethics especially when it comes to labor and IP.

i really like that last blue dress! such a cute design and colour, and as someone that also struggles w the idea of needing clothes to be 'flattering' but also being tired of doing so, it makes me wanna go out and get a dress like that! it really helps being able to see someone w a body similar to mine rock it.

Isn't Cider an Aliexpress/Shein dropshipper? That's why they do not have an inventory and why it takes a while to get your order but they call it a 'pre-order model'....
