Is NBA Street Vol. 2 Still GOOD in 2023?

I originally made this video a few years ago, but I thought a remastered version of it belong on this channel. NBA Street 2 is easily the best basketball game I have ever played. to be honest the amount of time i put into this game as a kid is insane to think about, i made a strict full custom team in order to go against the hardest difficulty amazing game so dang fun..

I've played this game so much I created 10 created players, which was the most allowed, named each one after my 8 uncles and 2 aunts, maxed their stats out, beat Story Mode and NBA Challenge with each of them and got them drafted. And yes, I still play it till this very day on my damn near 20 year old PS2. NOSTALGIA NEVER DIES.

As far as the courts are concerned, you missed out on the fact that all the courts were taken from real-life locations, including the old-school Rucker Park location. The track listing was fire, and having Stretch do the commentary gave it a true streetball experience (if you've never seen an AND1 video, THAT was what the NBA STREET series was based on). EABIG had some amazing ideas for their STREET franchises, and this one was the masterpiece of them all. Jordan being in the game was EPIC at the time, seeing as how his dispute with the PA kept him out of almost every NBA game from the mid-90s to the early 00's. Awesome video, and pretty good for an on-the-surface look of the game (no disrespect). Kudos.

I loved playing this game growing up. The only thing I hated about thr game is that stealing and trick counters were damn near impossible to do. Other than that, it's a good game.

I bought a fat PS2 to replace my PS2 slim to eventually mod as well, but I'm wondering if I should buy 2-3 or just 3.

I played with a girl right off the bat. Even my created player was a woman I nicknamed "Mother Nature". Best way to embarrass someone back then was to cook em with a 5'6 girl.
