when repair attempt went wrong and important data needs recovery

Getting a device that has been attempted to be repaired before is very common these days. Most of the time recovering data from such "failed" cases is way more time-consuming, and unfortunately, sometimes it is even impossible. Data recovery procedures on this channel may look easy, but that is mainly because we have been doing it a few years shy of 2 decades. If you do anything for close to 20 years, you will make it look easy :) This episode shows how much extra work a simple damaged connector job we had to do in order to safely recover data for our client. If you lost important data on your device, make sure you pay attention to the reputation of the company that is handling the recovery process instead of their price tag.

Created a short and fried the controller releasing the magic smoke so the the electrons didn't flow anymore ... lucky for you client there are people the understand how it works.
