Sam Bright is the Vice President & General Manager of Google Play. He graduated summa cum laude in 3 years with a BA in Management from Taylor University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has almost two decades of tech leadership experience building and scaling technology teams, businesses, and experiences. Prior to Google, Sam was the Chief Product & Experience Officer at Upwork, the world’s largest work marketplace, and served as Vice President and General Manager of Verticals at eBay. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for TIAA, a Fortune 100 financial services institution, and is a member of the Audit, Investment, and Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility Committees.

Google Play is an online store where consumers go to find their favorite apps, games, movies, TV shows, books, and more. It provides 2 million apps & games to billions of people around the world, generating over US$120 billion in earnings for developers to date.
