An intense and unusual story that has been retold for over 1,500 years: the Lenten story of Saint Mary of Egypt. She is honoured by the Orthodox Church every year during Great Lent.

I'm Byzantine Catholic and just found your video about St Mary of Egypt. Her icon is one of many on our church walls, and I always wondered who she was.
