Gamepass is worth it as long as you have a PC bottom line. I've played loads of games id have never bought and enjoyed most of them a lot

Well they have given up on the Xbox Series X, so I'm going back to PC gaming.

I just paid about $23 AUD for a month of Ultimate and I'm going to use it to play Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. I basically just got Indiana Jones for less than half of it's price tag. Game Pass is incredible value if there are games on there you want to play.

pc gamepass is value for money for me. i am never in a spot where i dont have games to play. i love playing indie, AA and if some AAA is not on gamepass i buy from steam. because i am saving money. at my place gamepass cost me less than 2 pack of cigg a month. i dont even care about xbox exclusives not a deal breaker for me. i will keep gamepass till it exists or untill they start charging 70 usd.

I’ve had game pass for a while I had 3 years of gold and stacked a month of game pass ultimate and I did that again a couple months ago or whenever, and I hardly play my Xbox nothing on game pass is actually exciting when I can just play these games on my pc or ps5. Idk I have a big BC library on Xbox so I usually just play whatever is in there that I bought. 3 years ago game pass was really great and actually had great games but now I feel they add mostly mid tier games and shovelware

I don’t take advantage of Ultimate to justify the subscription. I don’t have time to play tons of different games. Plus, after the price hike I’m not paying $254 and some change a year (includes tax).

Core is good for me. Don’t have a ton of games that I play and I’m pretty sure they won’t be dropping what I do play anytime soon.

I travel a lot for work, and own a rog ally and Xbox series x. I have game pass ultimate because I can download games to my ally and play it on that handheld. Another feature that I find valuable is streaming my Xbox console to my ally. So if I wanted to play a game I bought and it not a play it everywhere title, I can just stream it. I don't know if this is a feature of game pass or baked into windows.

Question for creator or anyone who has a suggestion: I am a guy who rarely buys games day one like ever ( I think the last one I bought was forza horizon 5 and that was before they switched it to 70 bucks), I play on average 3-4 four titles a year not many multiplayer (like currently my rotation is consist of No-man Sky, EA FC 24, and Jedi Survivor). However, looking at the gamepass core line of up of games there are a couple a that pique my interest like Firewatch, Ori and superliminal) so is it still worth it? I still buying games because I am someone who slow burns through games, kind of taking it all in. Also, I saw that there are discounts for certain games if you get the core option, is there a greater discount if you get the ultimate subscription. Finally, I see that at least for core, you have a limited number of games, how would you gain access to them? Is it through the app for game pass or you have to search each individually.

I say it's worth it, at least now as of 2024, but Microsoft could easily ruin it in the future.

just got rid of ps5 for series x, i pay 7.99 a month on ps just to get online and get a few games a month which are rubbish, 10.99 a month on standard game pass i can't believe how many games you get its so good

A lot of the old games are behind paywalls now so it is a must have their forcing that on you besides have it where you can pay for the game itself

It's great if you want to "dabble around with so many games' and don't own them.. If you mainly into a certain main game or 2... no just buy the game and don sub.

I use rewards so I don’t pay for Ultimate, so yes it’s worth it.

I still don’t understand how they make money putting first party games with millions in development costs on Game Pass day and date. I would’ve bought Hellblade 2 physically, but since it’s digital only - pay $50 digital, or about $12 for a month of GP? I’ll play on GP.

I didn't have to pay $70 to play indiana jones and the great circle only $20 and i used cloud gaming to play it so you tell me is it worth it?
