Thanks for reporting on NAMM! The one thing that never ceases to amaze me, although was predictable, was the exponential improvement in processing power in PCs and small devices. I remember in the mid-2000s playing around with Guitar Rig that really required a PC processor to generate the sound. Now multiple processors of similar power are available on small form factor units and can process an entire guitar amp and effects chain. We can now have an entire rack of amps, cabinets and effects in a little mobile device to play on the go, and they sound great!
