The weird sequin flower dress is such a good example of how you should always try crazy things on. Such a serve but who would have thought?

Just wanted to comment to announce that I'm the proud owner of a terracota raincoat lined with leopard print which is always a fun surprise for people since they don't quite expect a guy to wear leopard print i guess. I inherited it from my mother and it makes rainy days so much happier

"It's a fear response but we're passing it off as a moral decision" oof I felt that about driving 😂

Speaking of your floral sequins number, some of my favourite items in my closet went through the following thought process: "omg that's hideous... (long pause).... I kinda love it"
Sometimes they just throw you off but have the best character

There was a hideous pink frou frou dress in a charity shop in 2017. I didnt buy it, couldnt stop thinking about it, and it was gone when i went back. I still think about it now 😂 buy the hideous second items that bring you joy!

I love this all black outfit on you! I particularly love the neckline of that top and how it perfectly showcases your tattoos!

"a speakeasy of sequins" is now a phrase I want to use but doubt I will have the occasion to.
I love that patent leather rucksack😍

I quit fast fashion for ethical and enviromental reasons in 2018 and the thrifting conversation wasn't happening at all where I lived. I'm so happy to have seen so many people close to me making the switch.
Also it is so fascinating how much more organic it is to find your personal style

i love my birkenstocks! i know here in aus, if you're noticing that the bottom rubber of your birks are wearing down you can get them re-soled. its pretty cheap if you get them repaired before the cork gets worn down too. just another option if someone out there loves their birks and doesn't want to throw out a pair they've worn to (almost) death!

Now I kinda want to make a video response showing my favorite poshmark finds 🤩 Online thrifting is so dangerous for me, excellent finds and often so inexpensive. I love how you highlighted some awesome "basics" you have found, but also super unique finds like the sequin and floral dress. There is a high fashion brand called Rodarte, and I feel like that dress is very Rodarte in the best way!

I recently went secondhand shopping for the first time with my sister and it's been the best shopping experience I've ever had. We had so much variety in styles to choose from and because of that we ended up feeling a lot more satisfied with the clothes that we bought. It generally gives me a lot of anxiety going shopping, but this time I felt a lot more relaxed and free to take my time looking around, actually enjoy the process and find a piece of clothing I love.

I saw another woman wearing the crazy floral sequin dress walking through Kensington the other day and I gasped like I’d spotted a celebrity.

Today I wore my leopard sports leggings with a bright pink pullover and I thought "that's how Leena must feel."
Thanks for all your videos and thank you for being such an inspiration! I was always a bit too insecure to wear bright, colorful and patterned clothes like you. Now I am braver! I just loove colors and wearing what I feel comfortable in!

I've reached a point in my life where I ACTUALLY SALIVATED at the thought that your cost per wear on that fluffy cardigan is probably less than 1p! I'm like 3 months into using a wardrobe tracker and I thought I'd hate reducing it all to numbers would ruin it, but now I have one more thing to talk about on top of all the emotions and memories and happy details about clothes hahaa. I love that this is such a mix of pieces but all so you <3

Why does seeing the exact same sandals I have give me the level of excitement I'd get from seeing a friend on TV but WELCOME TO THE COOL SANDALS CLUB

I love hearing (and telling) clothing stories SO MUCH!!! I live in the States but some of my favorite secondhand purchases were made in London, like a giant men's silk and wool slubby sweater I got my first time ever in an Oxfam shop about 23 years ago that I still wear every winter, and a steampunky black linen kilt-y skirt that I made a nice lady take off a mannequin in a charity shop right near the William Morris gallery in Walthamstow last December.

I used to disregard clothes when I went to thriftshops, but my current wardrobe is probably 50% thrift right now (with the other 50% probably being 10 years old on average). Thank you for showing off your finds and making people changed their mind about secondhand clothes!
