🔵02 - Order and Degree of a Differential Equation : Exercise

In this video, we shall consider 5 differential equations and figure out the order and degree of these differential equations.

Order: the order of the highest derivative in the equation

Degree: the power to which the highest order derivative is raised if the differential equation is a polynomial in its derivatives.

Differential Equation is an equation involving an unknown function and one or more of its derivatives. or It is an equation involving the derivative of the dependent variable with respect to the independent variable.

you are so wrong. to determine the order of a differential equation the equation should be in polynomial form as far as derivatives are concerned . otherwise order is not define. you 1st equation is trigonometric not polynomial then order is not define. same in 4th one.
