Republicans, Libertarians and Democrats (Oh My!)

This is a description of the differences between Libertarians, Democrats and Republicans. As a libertarian who's run for office twice I find their is a lot of confusion about what libertarians believe and how they differ from their counterparts in the two dominant parties. Libertarians are running for office all over the country and are the third largest political party in the U.S. I hope this sheds a little light on who we are.
