#SHREDDERSOFMETAL returns for Season 2 !
In the first episode its ADAM VS RIC.

Eight Shredders will enter and only one will be left standing and named this season’s Shredder of Metal Champion. Each episode features a one versus one guitar duel with the winner moving on, until the final episode crowns the season’s champion.

Adam should have tuned his guitar, but the shredding was fine.
Ric missed a lot of notes. Or it was the sound mixing. idk. It feld like it was so.

Some of the shredding was quite poor, imho. Judges are sweet guys and could be judging a bit harsher...

I love the way the judges praise them. It's called 'dynamic truth' - tell people they're doing great, and they'll reach for that.
Another reason why I like it is because it's such an opposition to they way these kind of talent shows are done on traditional television.
Nobody is shit-talking about anyone, just pure human camaraderie.

I liked Ric's style better, very nice melodic lines, but his faster game was too sloppy. Adam deserved this win!

I don't mean to be rude, but Ric had no right being in this competition. I respect him having the courage to put himself out there, but his playing is incredibly sloppy and inconsistent and made it pretty obvious as to who would be winning this round.

yup, I picked Adam as well. I don't play but his shredding sounded more solid to me and overall had more groove.

The way Adam took the judges' advice to heart and really switched it up was great and probably sealed the deal.

Didn't enjoy Ric's playing too much, but I'm willing to bet it sounded a lot better in the room than the signal they captured.

Part of me wants to say "shit I've only been playing for 3 years and I can shred way better than either of these guys" (and I'm 100% sure I can play better than both of their first takes at the very leas), but I would be hella nervous too if I had to play in front of Alex and Ben in such an up-close-and-personal environment.

Adam for sure. He creates some cool shapes and his vibrato is very good which is a guitar player signature. Ric, I have nothing good to say. Either the youtube recording was defected or Ric was nervous. Good job and glad to see SOM2
