Moved to Boquete 6 months ago and never looked back. Perfect Pair, the big table upstairs by the Christmas tree is where I meet my Spanish maestro. The lady downstairs is so nice, puts up with my rubbish Spanish. I live in Jaramillo Centro, have a great house with a million dollar view of Volcan Baru, and the rainbows when the bajareque comes through. Come visit!

Boquete is a beautiful place, but in regards to weather not always "perfect" as they say. It doesn't get too hot or cold, but it does get very rainy during rainy season, and dry season tends to be constantly windy. Large gusts of wind at random times too.

Also the infrastructure there isn't always great, we had a water tank when I was there as back up for when / if the water system broke. There was a water line in town which frequently broke or would produce very murky dirty water (we also had additional filters on the water coming into the house for that reason).

That chocolate shop was awesome with beautiful terrace looking at the street. In Europe, place like that would never be empty.

Definitely go to "Boquete Sandwich Shop". It is very reasonable, large portions. It is owned by a retired American fireman and his Panamanian wife. You will not be disappointed.

Hi David, have you heard of Nomadic Movement they are a youtube channel based out of Boquete. They are a couple from Boston they have been vlogging a few years now. Anyway the coffee/chocolate shop you were in friends who are in their vlog owned it. They also started a coffee business out of Boquete shipping worldwide lol their coffee is called morning movement.

The only thing I might not like about Boquete (ok more than 1 😂) is the high winds they get during the wet season, and the power outages. Other than that, it’s why I’m going there to see how I like it compared with Bocas and David.
