I.B. Literature: Paper 1 Survival Guide (2022 Exams)

This video is a *survival* guide for Paper 1. It's going to help you if you are very uncertain about how to approach the paper. The organizational structure (thematic thesis statement w/ 3 authorial choices as supporting points) works for the paper, but it might not be sophisticated enough for a high scoring paper (6 or 7).

Thomas, I am also an IB Lit teacher, and have had a lot of fun watching your video. I try to find other teeachers' apporaches for my students, but in your case, not only is your guidance almosting exactlingly similar to my own, even your side comments and affectations are nearly identical. (In fact, you even have a wedding ring identical to mine - although I lost mine, hmmm.) Sending you good vibes as we rally these kids for what has been a crazy time to be teaching IB. Students watching - I don't know if it's perfect, but I can say this is exactly how I teach the Paper 1, too. Good advice.

Thank you for your very helpful videos! You have helped me through my IA, oral, and now you are championing me through Paper 1. Recently, my English teacher communicated that Paper 1 consisted of two essays (for 2021 exams). I had thought that it was just one essay analyzing the two stimulus items and interpreting them. Could you confirm if it is one or two essays?
