Torrential downpour floods Toronto, Tuesday

This is when you truly must have empathy for what people go through around the globe. In Florida, this would be seen as a blessing. Their houses are washed away and the destruction is unbelievable. We take so much for granted in Toronto.

In Oak, 2 hours after the rain stopped, water upstrwam, made it's way down stream to the marina. It dislodged dozen of boats, hits 50 or more boats down stream in marina, floating off in the lake. Stranding dozen of children training on sail boats. Needed rescue by police & rescue.training sail boats towed to shore. Owners of drifting boats, needed to rescue their boats. After 5 hours, all is good!

this happened to Auckland, New Zealand not long ago. with climate change these cities should have already been ready for higher rates of rainfall but clearly weren't or underestimated
