I've tried many videos, and this one is the best for beginners--slow, easy, a good amount of repetition, presents context, different speakers, presents practical, real-life dialogues, and it builds new structures on what was previously taught. Chinese don't add (de) when talking about family members or close friends, because (de) indicates possession and you don't actually own them.
So it's better to just say the sentence without adding (de).
For example, Mary's daughter would be ( Mary nü er )
