If I as an Englishman, set out on a boat from these safe shores of the UK to the safe shores of France at 4am in the morning on a night of sub zero temperatures in December, I would be described as an idiot. Plain and simple : the vast majority of them (migrants) is english-speaking. Why would they go to Germany ? Holland ? France ?
