Our Travel Day to Orlando with Virgin Atlantic - Florida Mall, Super Target & Ramada Kissimmee

In today's video we take you along as we begin our journey from London Heathrow to Orlando International, we're off on an adventure!

We start our video at Heathrow having breakfast in The Curator, one of their dining locations in Terminal 3, we then take you onboard as we travel with Virgin Atlantic on an Airbus A330 in their classic layout 2-4-2, whilst the interior is a little dated, it was nice having the 2-4-2 layout being separated off. We'll give you a brief overview of the seat area as well as the food we were offered on this flight.

As we touch down in Orlando I'll explain the car hire location and process as well as give you a quick look at our whip for this adventure before we had out to a couple of locations around the Orlando area, we head to The Florida Mall to run a few errands, we then head to Super Target (massive super market) to get some snacks for park days before we head to the Mall at Millenia to get ourselves a takeaway Cheesecake Factory!

We'll also give you a quick overview of our room where we're staying at Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway, this is a pretty cheap affordable room close to Walt Disney World and around 30 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort, the hotel has a tower as well as 'motel' style rooms, we're staying in one of the motel rooms.

There really aren't that many tolls, unless your travelling alot. To Kennedy and go MCO only. Never use any others, unless going to Miami.

Heathrow Terminal 3 Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787 direct to Orlando is my go to way to travel to Florida to. Miss it so much. It’s been 3 years now since we went but we had such a wonderful trip. Good memories

Hi! Would you be able to tell me what is the situation there with regards to carrying cash with you since covid? Is it still a balance of cash passport and pocket cash or has it mostly moved to cashless payment? Am going florida in a couple of monthe and trying to work out how much actual cash to bring.

That plane is a disgrace for the price they charge..virgin food has to be one of the worst of all airlines

Car rental staff do on occasions try to up-sell. My thoughts check everything you sign with staff at the counter. When I present the car rental voucher, I simply say Just give me what is on the voucher I require nothing else. It works no waffle other than question what signing, of course in a polite manner.

Thanks for reply we have been four times to Florida already &have flown with Virgin before, we have traveled with other airlines but Virgin are the best, maybe more expensive but worth it, roll on 2024👨🏻‍🦽✈️
