I wish they stop this whole fan service business with Thai BL, so unnecessary and pointless

It's amazing to see that so many actors who were never allies to the communities but were actually bullies to members of the community in the past are now working in the lgbtq industry and profiting and surviving off the same people they considered lesser than.

let’s be real, most these apologies really just mean “I’m sorry I got caught” - I don’t like cancel culture but some of these guys deserve to get cancelled!

Honestly if Phuwin's friend accepted the apology long ago, then there is no point on dragging it. He realized his mistake immediately and apologized on the spot.

Pond naravit was 12 yrs old that time, i will never understand people holding an adult accountable for what they did when they were literally a kid. Its good that he educated himself as he grew up.

12:24 The part about Gulf "focusing on his career instead of beefing with fans on a random Tuesday, " had me cracking up. I love your sense of humor! 😂❤

I hate the fan service and that's why I love ships that promote good friendships and a strong bond. These people are actors and this is a job!

Honestly, Zee and nuneww are going to regret this heavy fan service.
It's too much and completely not necessary.

Ohm had already been punished and the bullied person has already moved past it. I don't see where other people feel like they need an apology. Ohm was punished back then and the offended party wants people to drop it already. People do things they regret when young and people can change. I also find it funny that the account who brought up the the old stories of Phuwin and Pond was a Prom fan account as if they were trying to use Pond and Phuwin to bury Prom's scandal. I'm glad Pond and Phuwin apologized so that this can be put behind them, I'll still be supporting them.

I actually needed to see this video because fans were really starting to get to me. I was recently rewatching cutiepie and these days since I've gotten older lost the ability to see the appeal of shipping videos. when watching an ep I was reading through the comments and ppl were saying they confirmed the relationship and i usually ignore it but so many people were saying it that I actually thought it was true cuz I felt no way this mass of people are taking something the wrong way but precisely. BL fans do it best reading too deep into any and everything. It remined me of when I watched Perth's video answering the questions of fans and he was responding to a fan service question. He was saying that fans seem to think they are body language experts and that most of the time they are wrong and overanalyze suff. Anyway nice video keep up the good work!!!!

I find it interesting that Zee and NuNew seem to be in the same boat that Mew and Gulf were once in. They're giving heavy, heavy fanservice and interviews to the point that fans think their relationship is real. Let's be honest. Fanservice is nothing but an illusion. It's not real.
That being said, I agree that the Step By Step writers went too far and they could have made their point in a different way without calling anyone out.

I love BL but I just don’t get fan service. I’m a international fan and it’s hard to understand. The BL fan service and K-pop fan are so extreme. I also think the BL industry is toxic to keep making or pushing these guys to act like real couple outside of the screen. I think in the long run it can really mess with their psyche. But these companies are only doing what the fan service wants. I believe other countries don’t have fan service (not 100% sure) UK, Korea, USA, Japan, shows like Young Royals, HeartStopper, Gameboy, History 1-3, Semantics Error and Cherry Magic. When I see them do interviews they’re talking about the acting, script not if they like each other. Get rid of fan service and let these guys do their job just be actors

I have to admit I'm surprised about Mew. I never believed for an instant they were dating, but I did get duped into thinking they were close as friends. They seemed to genuinely respect and care for each other other, despite all the fake flirting. But since Mew flatly says they haven't spoken in 2 years, I guess not. Wow, that seems incredibly cold-hearted and cynical to cozy up to someone like that and then be like "what, I was faking, y'all ur crazy thanks for the cash buh bye". Actors give you trust issues sometimes...

My personal opinion is quite simple...although Mew said a few things that were kinda mean (uneducated and mental health issues), he is completely correct. Far too many fans cannot separate reality from fiction. Sure, it's so great when two actors in a BL get along so well and can play up their onscreen relationship offscreen as well. However, he also pushed it as far as he did with Gulf.

As for the ZeeNew scene in Step by Step, seriously??? Come on! They are two actors who play LGBTQIA+ roles in some BL shows. And they were certainly asked and probably paid (pretty sure) to have their faces appear in that episode in the board room. But reality is reality. They are actors (gay or not doesn't matter) who portray gay characters to make money. The dialog used in this scene is correct. It is factually true. Many BL actors are doing these series for fame and money. Sure, some are supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community, but that doesn't mean that they live and breathe gay. They are human beings with their own dreams and desires. I agree that seeing actual BL actors was not necessary to tell this part of the story. But it is all still true in how the BL world works. Obsessive fans are just pissed because their dream ship was accused of something within a BL series (its not even a twitter or IG post) that is probably true! This takes us right back to my first paragraph about what Mew said...fans need to let go and just enjoy the series and see them at fan events, without this need to get all these couples married!

I watched Step by Step (the scene in question) and I just said to myself "oh cool, those two agreed to be part of the episode" and then continued to watch the story unfold.

We have recently seen the outcome of obsessive fanning (Build suing those slanderers). Nobody is stopping anyone from having their personal fantasies about these guys. But just keep it to yourself at home in your bedroom. These studios need to stop telling their actors to do excessive fan service and the interviewers also need to stop these stupid BL games (Pocky) etc. Just interview them. Ask them questions about their relationships, sure! But they are two actors paid to perform a role. Daniel Craig (007) does not run around the world shooting everyone and blowing up buildings, nor banging every single woman who passes his way. He is given a script that he performs as per the director's requests. And at the end of the filming, he goes back to his own life.

I sometimes feel so good that some of the Bl actors refrain themselves from doing such extreme fanservices or smartly and politely refuse to do so....like brightwin - they share good friendship and colleague behaviour and mind their own career and goals. I believe now a days "offgun" also have toned down a lot (it's my perception, not anything personal)

I hope Zeenunew know what they're doing with the whole fanservice shenanigans. It's gonna be a blood bath once they follow Mewgulf's footsteps.

I agree with you about the permanent pairings. It should stop. It leaves no mystery to the end couple in shows and limits the actors.

I agree that fans take fan service too seriously, but I think Mew has no-one to blame but himself. With his on-screen partners he goes all out with fan service and acts very suggestively and implies they are in a serious relationship, and when he doesn't need them anymore he drops them like a hot rock.

if zeenunew are just a fan service.. damn, they deserve an oscar for their amazing preformance! 👏🏻👏🏻

For me the whole BL industry is base on queer baiting , they are happy to use the LGBTQA money, but behind the scene they are way to many actor/producer/director with an history of LGBTQA hate . The fan service is completely crazy and toxic . People need to understand that this is fiction , but i think the whole industry is responsible for the toxic fan service by really pushing people to believe completely fake relationship .They are pushing straight actor to fake a whole relationship and are surprised when people believe in it (sharing physical intimacy, spending way to much time together, going to diner like a couple, etc )
