At his peak bekele defeated everyone. He was simply untouchable. 5k, 10k, and cross country. Long and short. Understandably with age and injuries he has slowed down. Moved to Marathon. Still showing flashes of brilliance 2nd fasted time. He is indeed a Unicorn

He’s back to underdog status, and I feel he’s gone through so much during his career to get to this point, including the death of a significant other. I want to see him win, take the world record, and cap off an incredible career in the most glorious fashion possible.
