Sitting in the Power is a passive meditation and one of the best things you can do to develop and attune yourself as a medium. Mat and Dana recommend developing mediums do a meditation like this at least 3-4/week.
Dana Willey will guide you through the steps of understanding your own energy, locating your power center and then growing and expanding it. You will then be guided to invite in Source energy (Divine, God, Spirit) in to blend with yours. You will then move to allow yourself to be attuned to be a better conduit for Spirit communication.
Allow yourself to feel all sensations during this meditation. It is normal to feel tingles, touches, sensations, nausea, emotions, itches, etc. Try not to move, itch or adjust during this meditation but to just experience what you feel.
Sitting in the Power is also not a time to channel, but a time for you to take time for you.
Journaling after the meditation is complete can be very helpful.
As with all of our meditations, please use this when you are in a safe space, free from distractions. Please do not listen while driving or operating equipment.
