Nowell had terrific passes and led this game in scoring. It's like when I first saw Chris Clemons in the Summer League. These guys are ballers and deserve a shot in the NBA despite their height.

Nowell is impressive, if he makes it to the opening day roster he would already have best court vision on the team. I do worry about him going up against bigger defenders though, he had some turnovers today where the length of the defenders was too much for him. It's going to be a bit of learning curve adjusting to the length of the NBA but he's got that DAWG in him I think he might just be special

In regards to Nowell, I'm excited for this guy. He did have a few turnovers where you could see he'll need to get used passing over NBA length and athleticism but his IQ is high enough that with playing time he'll figure it out quickly. Most of them he was just getting too excited and making the wrong type of pass, those overhead passes off the pick and roll won't work as much in the NBA with his height so he'll need to learn when to use it and when not to. His size can work to his advantage though, a couple of those if he fakes that overhead and throws a bounce pass he'll be able to great some great angles on the roller, Lowry was actually great at doing this.
