I like Your video on the 2016 Toyota 4Runner. It is well narrated. Would have loved to know MPG on the Dash and actual MPG, perhaps more stats. Like actual weight of the trailer if You went by a Scale.

Just load it up and go . Weight limits and properly inflated tires are just fine print . I’m obviously joking, but I feel comfortable overloading by 1000 pounds or so what my vehicle is capable of . As long as your tires are good, you drive safe, and aren’t overloaded crazy, you can pull more than you think . Just look at how everything sits, if it looks wonky it is wonky . Adjust accordingly. Be safe .

This helps so much! I have a 2011 Subaru Outback 6 cylinder, all wheel drive, and am moving this weekend from FL to NC and am pulling a 6 by 12. My biggest item is an L shaped sectional but scaled back alot otherwise.
My mechanic and Uhaul have helped me... I am nervous. Driving alone with my dog. Whew, this helps!

I’m doing a trip next weekend and was worried, I thought the surge brake that was on there was the one if it came loose that third chain would activate the brakes. So Im glad it is actually a surge in case of heavy braking, I have a 2017 4Runner Limited.

GVWR of trailer is 4400 lbs, and uhaul states that you can load 2, 480 lbs. Their website states that

The proper way to load is heavy in the middle (where both axle sits or one if you have single) and balance the remainder on the front and back. When you load heavy on the front, it basically put too much load on your tongue. Below is some proof.
