I think that being a Christian for many yrs freedom in Christ covers
us in grace being free from condemnation and the freedom
to please God with our lives which
we couldn't do before our conversion

I'm free from sin, cause I'm dead with Christ. Anyone who is dead is free from the covenant. I'm renewed to the better covenant of the Spirit being poured upon me through Christ. The things of God being written in my heart. I do not lower myself to the law of Moses, but a greater law imposed by Jesus. We follow God in trueness of heart and loving all brethren freely. Not in that we should commit sin, but properly apply what is good. No one can follow the law and the law called for Jews to not even have company with gentiles which was done away with in acts.

We have free will! To choose our eternal life. Jesus set us free, all of us, that is grace, but freedom from sin only happens through our faith, in Jesus

(Isaiah 53:1, ESV) Who has believed what he has heard from us? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
(Isaiah 53:2, ESV) For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.
(Isaiah 53:3, ESV) He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
(Isaiah 53:4, ESV) Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.
(Isaiah 53:5, ESV) But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.
(Isaiah 53:6, ESV) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
(Isaiah 53:7, ESV) He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.
(Isaiah 53:8, ESV) By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people?
(Isaiah 53:9, ESV) And they made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth.
(Isaiah 53:10, ESV) Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
(Isaiah 53:11, ESV) Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.
(Isaiah 53:12, ESV) Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.

But... The statue of Liberty is a pagan god. Its Cybele, and many other Babylonian godesses/trans gods worshipped by the Pagans. Go look it up. They go by different names but all have the same look and same points in the crown. I'm confused.

The truth is that this very popular, obedience free heresy is believed by many Calvinists. It is the ultra-grarce, obedience free gospel. "...but do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature. Paul in Romans 8 tells BELIEVERS, "If you live according to the flesh you will die but if by te Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the flesh you will live.

Before Jesus died on the cross, people sinned on a regular basis, and they sacrificed animals for forgiveness.
The Bible tells us that Jesus death on the cross was meant to give us a better way. He came to bring righteousness to his chosen people.
2 Corinthians 5:21 tells us this:
"For our sake, he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
Scripture also says:
1 Peter 2:24
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness."
Scripture also says:
“And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” Romans 6:18.
There are many people who call themselves Christians today who do not live any differently than people did before Jesus came.
They sin on a regular basis just as people always did before. They believe they have been saved even though there is no distinction between their lifestyles and that of unbelievers. They believe Jesus made the sacrifice so that they can sin without a penalty and recieve constant forgiveness.
This was not what God intended. The free gift that he offers is only for those who are obedient to living without sin.
Hebrews 5:9 tells us:
"And being made perfect, he (Jesus) became the source of eternal salvation to all who OBEY him, "
Deliberate rebellion against God was not acceptable before Jesus came:
Numbers ch. 15 tells us:
"But the person who does anything
presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one brings reproach on the Lord, and he shall be cut off from among his people. Because he has despised the word of the Lord, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his guilt shall be upon him."
Also, we are told that deliberate rebellion today is still not tolerated even after Jesus died on the cross:
“For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.”
(Hebrews 10:26).
Jesus came to forgive sins and also to bring righteousness to those that he chooses to forgive. Most Christians deny that righteousness is possible. Without faith in the power of God to deliver us from the bondage of sin, they will not be able to enter his kingdom.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 confirms that righteousness is required for Salvation:
"do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."

Freedom in Christ means we are no longer a slave of sin, a breaker of the Law which the Bible calls "sin" (1 John 3:4). If this man here is teaching the contrary, which tells us to ignore the Laws of God because it is impossible to keep it all (which is not true) because God says (not me) that His law is not too difficult, then many people will be led astray. Let not your ears be tickled by thinking that freedom in Christ is a license to break God's law or even some of it. For we are commanded by Christ to obey even the least of God's law which will not pass away even heavens and earth will pass away.

"What Is ‘Freedom in Christ’?"

Good Title kind Sir...I can only speak what I believe...and none other's belief...

...For I believe "Freedom in Christ" is: Every person who will ever have lived; has total "Free-Will" to do ANY thing we want to do. Even to deny Him! But NOT without consequences. For Jesus also, punishes EVERY one since Creation; for EVERY sin we commit X 7 times. And IF we flaunt it.

Leviticus 26:28 Then I will walk contrary (Against You) also in fury (Wrath) ; and I, even I, will chastise ("punish" in English language today) you seven times for your sins. (70 times for Abominable Sins), Thus...

Jesus punished King Nebuchadnezzar in 605 BC in Babylon for 7 years and made him eat grass crawling on the ground. Yet, at the same time; Jesus allowed THAT King to enslave and put in bondage; most of the Jews in the world at that time. For 70 yrs (605 BC to 534 BC), because they had committed Abominable Sins for over 800 yrs. Sad, but true.

But at the same time; Jesus blesses us "untold" for EVERY good deed we commit. Thus, it is much better to do good "Deeds" than to sin. And the best way to sin "LESS" (note: there is no such person that is "SinLESS"!) And that is to often pray sincerely; to Jesus ONLY, these words...

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

And that is my take on "Freedom in Christ"...

...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

Christianity began as sun worship, the stories about Jesus are symbolic.

He is just a personification of the sun, made into a god figure later on.

The sun "dies" for 3 days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north.

In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin"

The sun rising in the morning is "the saviour of mankind"

The sun is "The light of the World"

The sun "walks on water" is just the reflection of the sun on water/the sea.

"He cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him", is just sun rays.

Jesus' "crown of thorns" is just the sun's glare, also know as a halo.

The sun's "followers", "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass.

The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High": thus.."he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12.

The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30 degrees, hense, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30.

The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes.

The vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected.

The reason why saviour myths are so similar with a godman who is crucified and resurrected, who does miracles and has 12 disciples, is that these stories were based on the movements of the sun through the heavens, an astrotheological development that can be found throughout the planet, because the sun and the 12 zodiac signs can be observed around the globe.

In other words, Jesus Christ and all the others upon whom this character is predicated are personifications of the sun, and the Gospel fable is merely a rehash of a mythological formula revolving around the movements of the sun through the heavens..
