In the first Portal, GLaDOS mentioned that she's preventing "them" from entering the facility. Also, the facility was locked down ever since she killed of all the personnel, snd I doubt she would open it again so she could be disturbed. And even if they managed to get inside, it's not like the portal gun is laying there on every shelf. Given that they even know that they are supposed to be looking for it, or at least for the technology.

Great Iceberg! This might be one of the best I’ve seen yet!

A Few Corrections and Additional Information:
- Distorted Trumpets is only a sample used in the song, which I believe is just called “Radio” in the OST. The other sample used is called “Is That The Door?”
- “You’re not supposed to be here, as a matter of fact, you’re not, ” is the full version of the quote, and it was also used in the Hazard01 test level as well as an E3 trailer called “Psych”
- I think the theory that Blue Shift is non-canon stems from the special HEV charges they use in the game, that are styled differently then the one that appears in Eli’s Junkyard
- The “Missing Songs” entry is likely referring to several songs that come with the Half-Life 2 OST, but are never feature in game, including Headhumper, Biozeminades Fragment, and Combine Harvester to name a few.
- The quote that makes people think Vortiguants are self-aware is also another thing the singing Vortiguant says, “far distant eyes watch out through yours.”
- Real Time Moss, Alien Breeding, and Timeline were all ambitious features suggested by Gabe Newell, and whether or not the Valve team took them seriously is debatable.
- The “Nihilanth is G-Man” theory is important because it was popularized by the youtuber Matpat, and sparked some outrage in the Half-Life community when it was first introduced.
- The reason why Otis was censored in Opposing Force is because every character had to be censored in the German Multiplayer, including humans like Otis.
- Ninjas is a reference to Freeman’s Mind.
- XCCR is a dead ARG, and is believed to no longer be solvable, which is why nobody has figured it out yet.
- I think Grace, Washington is a town featured in a texture from HL1, but’s very obscure, and I’ve never seen it.
- Slickface Barney is only rumored to resemble slick, but there has never been any proof they are the same model.
- G-man’s crow is named “Crowley” in the Hammer Editor

1:33:37 Not only that, in Chapter 12 when you are driven around the Citadel inside the pod, you can see yellow tubes stretching by the walls of the structure. If you look closely at their texture, they seem to have veins on them. Still, maybe not the whole Citadel, but large parts of it can be a synth on Its' own.

I think the thing about Adrian Shepard in stasis is that he's probably just frozen in time until he is needed for a certain event or mission. The key factor to that is the line that Eli said to Gordan in Black Mesa East. "My god, you haven't changed one Iota, how did you do it?" Which i believe that they stop aging during stasis further proving that time is just frozen for them, including aging. So i still believe Shepard is still alive and will be reinstated by the g-man somewhere in the future.

The teleporter in Nova Prospekt was built based off Eli's an Kilener's research, hence why it looks similar. It's also seems incomplete an doesn't seem to have been made with the Xen relay in mind, which is what the resistance teleporters use.

When Mossman an Eli teleport out it seems to damage the teleporter an when Alyx an Freeman do the same it causes it to explode, destroying Nova Prospekt in the process an the effects likely being felt as far as City 17, if not further.

Fun Fact: Junction Point Studios and Warren Spector were supposed to work on Half-Life 3/Half-Life 2: Episode 3 until Disney Interactive had them work on the Epic Mickey games instead. So it’s interesting to think that Warren Spector’s ideas for the next Half-Life may have been carried over to the Epic Mickey games. Maybe someday we’ll see Half-Life 3, Epic Mickey 3, and/or even System Shock 3 all come to fruition after years and years of waiting.

One missing thing, another thing that proves the opposite that aperture science got raided by combine, but its a weird one, in the boss fight of Portal 1 Glados says "Are you trying to escape? [chuckle] Things have changed since the last time you left the building. What's going on out there will make you wish you were back in here. I have an infinite capacity for knowledge, and even I'm not sure what's going on outside. All I know is I'm the only thing standing between us and them. Well, I was." this can be reffering about Glados and that she dosent know how earth is doing outside and that also some presumable relations with the combine as their turrets acts the same as the turrets in Portal.

58:50 Seeing as the HD pistol was modeled after a Beretta 92, it does make sense for it to shoot 9mm. It's the SMG replacement that the HD pack messes up, as it swaps the MP5 (which also fires 9mm in real life) for a M16 rifle which fires a rifle caliber (5.56mm). So it would no longer make sense for the two weapons to share from the same ammo pool as they do in-game.

It's a very blatant but ultimately inconsequential mistake.

A thing about the combine's local teleport is it took Alex and Gordon a week to arive at Kliener's lab when they used it. Given that Nova prospect was no more two days away from Kliener's lab its clear that the combines local teleport is SUPER inefficent, who knows how long it would take them to say teleport across the Atlantic.

The multiverse probably is canon given the fact that Aperture found it as the plot of the Perpetual Testing Initiative (The Custom chambers of Portal 2) Interestingly enough there is a universe where Cave Johnson buys Black Mesa renaming it to Blapurture Mesa and prevents the Resonance Cascade by shutting down the Anomalous Materials Division.
