I just put my dog down due to what the vet called Addisonian crisis. Her collapse was very rapid and was completely unexpected. Thanks so much for the detailed explanation as it helps fill out gaps.

Would the reason be the fact that the injection is about 20x more expensive and requires monthly vet visits to administer the injection?

How do I know if my dog had Cushing’s disease, and it flipped to Addison’s I read this is possible my dog was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease Friday. I had a test on Friday to see if it helps his cortisol levels the next weekend He then started vomiting alot won’t drink water or eat and is getting stuffy nose and is seeming to have a hard time breathing could this mean he flipped ?
