One of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Humble and very easygoing, just don't piss him off.

Haku: "I will eat your eyeball."
Everyone: "We're outta here..."

The funny thing is he's supposedly a car salesman now.

"Brudda, I'm gonna eat that eyeball if you don't buy this car."

There’s too many stories for this guy not to have been the Ultimate wrecking machine!

Arn Anderson said he'd rather wrestle Andre the Giant every day for a year than to have one street fight with Haku. That's how legit tough Haku was!!!

i still like Jake the snake's story... if i had a gun, and a tank and Haku was mad at me, i'd shoot myself, because shooting Haku would probably just make him mad.

Back in the 80s I worked for the local telephone company and had worked often at WWF HQ while it was still on Summer St in Stamford CT. I was lucky enough to meet an employee there that was so amazing with her kindness and generosity and I know she gave do many people lifetime memories.
I mentioned to her how my grandmother was a lifelong fan of the WWF since the, WWWF days and mentioned that my had her knee replaced and had to spend time in a physical rehab facility and they had lousy TV coverage back then and she would have me record the various weekly wrestling programs and bring the VCR over and hook it and play it for her.

The lady had asked that when my grandmother was well enough would she like to come to a show and also come back and meet some of the talent, which at that point her rehab was going very slow and not good and when I mentioned this to her she lit up like a supernova.
She kept in touch and she arranged to meet at a house show in New Haven, and for a wheelchair to go backstage.
While going down the hallway the front wheel brother broke off .
During the commotion of the staff trying to find another wheelchair and my grandmother getting upset and starting to cry because she felt she was being a burden and they were all so nice to her, Haku came around a corner (man WAS the corner I was a pretty jacked guy back then but Haku was, well Haku)and I was trying to hold up the front corner of the wheel chair and trying to get her to settle down and he knelt down totally breaking Kayfabe and said Aunty why are you crying, and she said the chair broke and she was upset because she was causing problems, he grabbed the front of the chair and held it up obr handed and yelled for someone to bring a folding chair. He helped her move into it and and stayed a few minutes to speak very softly and nicely to her even though he was a heel, the man made 2 lifelong fans that day, I'll never forget the kindness and gentless this huge human showed a scared and upset elderly lady.

I loved Bischoff story that they wanted to release him in WCW but no one wanted to do it so he kept working anyways. And when he'd have to book the guys, if he thought they'd get agro, he'd bring Haku with him to make sure no one got sassy

Haku is a super chill, kind fella luckily. If you have heat with Haku it's your fault and if he eats your eye, you did something to deserve it. He doesn't start trouble, but he is the best at solving it. Respect.

There’s multiple stories from multiple wrestlers saying how much of a badas* Haku was in real life

God, I LOVE that no matter who you talk to, they ALL say the SAME thing, HAKU #1!!!

I think it was Jake Roberts who said that the only way a fight between him and Haku would be fair is if he (Jake) was in an Army Tank

There's fighting and then there's crazy. When you're going after eyes, noses, and ears, that's just nuts.
