My friends and I have been just been talking about this kind of videos from you.
Some of them have been trading "by hand" for many many years and don't want to transfer to automatisation. During that conversation I have presented to them your YouTube profile.
A lot of people, trades and non traders are interested in what you offer. The problem is that some never even used Patreon. Please do a tutorial series of "How to join and use" videos that would explain to us how to become a part of your group and start using your creations.

How do I optimize? Develop until the strwtegy has a good sharpe and sortino on multiple instruments without touching settings.

Does this mean there’s an update coming? For me since 1.55 the dates aren’t working anymore and some other stuff. Meaning also in and out sample doesn’t work at the moment, Anyways great tool!

Easy: Return on Max Drawdown. Equity divided by drawdown, and then looking for the smoothest equity curves on backtest charts. (Even better if there is a multidimensional heatmap, to see how each strategy degrades over time / how severe its curve-fitting is in practice.)

I still have yet to get anything but garbage data out of both the mt4 and tradingview strat testers. Sad to say but I have to backtest manually as nobody can help me and the instruction videos on youtube don’t work for me at all.
