For those who AREN'T AWARE,
Voice actors have been on strike for companies Refusing to put in contracts that they will NOT use their voice for Artificial Intelligence (AI) to imitate/copy their voices. Many Voice actors for the game Genshin Impact have been on strike. Cyyu is a voice actor who voices Cyno in game. While there are some voices, the recent Nahida birthday event showcases many playable characters gone mute due to their respective voice actors on strike.

This is where I’m disappointed…

After reading Prin’s comments on here and having to explain themselves, I feel horrible of the outcome and then being put on display as example. Being put on display for being an idiot is one thing, but for someone who was not educated about the situation(or not even aware of what’s going on) and probably a younger demographic, was highly uncalled for. Even worse when the community is not even being helpful and just being vile to them as if THEY ACTUALLY SUPPORT AI. At the absolute worst, a 3 day ban so that they have enough time to educate themselves when they come back.

Just for the record, I fucking hate AI and the fact it’s being forced EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING makes me hate it even more. I can’t go anywhere without AI being mentioned and I’m feel horrible that a lot of VAs are losing jobs over AI. I had to do my own research and it’s fucking crazy how long it’s been going on and I hope VAs get the justice they deserve.

Back to this YT short: if I was in Prin’s position and this happened to me, I would gladly take that Perma-Ban like man and never come back as this was my first experience with CyYu. Burn that bridge and make sure it could never be repaired again.

people saying prin should have done research is insane. day 1 on twitch, like any normal person, they prob went there to relax and wind down. yall saying we need to study and do HOMEWORK before we can relax? bullshit. it was an honest mistake. im not saying that cyyu was totally in the wrong, but that wasnt a good reaction either. i understand that vas feel strongly about ai and everything because of the threat to their careers and other factors, but it would have been SO much better to give prin a chance to explain before immeditely pulling out the ban hammer. and a permanent ban? what??? thats absolutely ridiculous... we have mouths- or in this case, fingers and keyboards to communicate, and its about time we learn to USE THEM.

So, I live outside of America. I had no idea there was a VA strike going on until this short. From what I've seen, this Prin had no idea either and asked - in their minds - what seemed to be a harmless question.

Rather than use your mouth, ya know that thing we all have under our noses, to communicate like an adult on why that was not a good question to ask, you instead decide to put them on blast, post their user name via this short so your followers can continue to shame them, and give Prin a perma-ban to boot.

Forgive me for being blunt, but this was a genuinely stupid way to handle that situation.

CyYu needs to be infinitely more mindful of the power that he holds in situations like these. He is an _extremely_ popular voice actor and V-tuber, and as horrible as it is to think about we _need_ to acknowledge that we live in a reality where cyber bullying (which is abuse and _should_ be labelled as such) is infinitely more prevalent, especially when it's done as a means to "defend and avenge" anyone who is in the public eye. I've seen far too many instances where a content creator, a singer, an actor, etc. was displeased by someone on the internet, publicly blasted them for it, and that person was then tortured and doxxed by their toxic fans.

Sometimes that ends with the person taking their own life, and while that thankfully isn't the case here harm _has_ been done to an innocent. Prin has stated in the comments here _multiple_ times that they had absolutely no clue about the strike and his stance on AI, and he needs to acknowledge that and apologize for it if he hasn't already.

Prin, if you ever read this I hope you're okay and that you receive only kindness and compassion from here on.

Instead of explaining to the person that it was not a good thing to say you made an example out of them and turned them into something to be ridiculed.
