Most consider an EV for its fuel savings, lower cost of ownership and environmental responsibility but others crave the neck-snapping electric torque and impressive handling afforded by the low center of gravity. Kia’s new EV6 GT is designed for the latter.

I just got mine a week ago and love it I get so many looks and at the light I am the king. Funny thing in normal its fast I didn't even use the gt button yet. Also I am getting 220 range in normal mode on back roads

This and the GV60 are my two favorite EVs in this space
Both look great, and provide similar performance.
The Genesis costs $10k more and gives up some size to provide a more upscale environment
The Mach-E would be the most direct competitor, and should net a test drive

With the Stinger GT sent out to pasture, Kia has made the EV6 GT the performance vehicle. 🚗🔌

What a vehicle! I like the looks and performance, I hate the dash! Overall, very impressive.

Steve! Im wondering, would you consider trading your Hyundai Kona EV for one of these?

This plug and charge thing has also has to do with the public charger themselves... EVGO supports most cars with "autocharge+" it works on EV6.

I have a GV60 Performance. The interior is where it's at.

Great review. You're very thorough. But what we don't need is another one-trick pony with a 180 mile range. We have a company making those already, plus they behead you, if desired. In almost every test online, this car loses over 100 miles of range when driven normally. It's just a Korean Plaid with a falsified stated range. Bummer. Not progress. It's an option, but not cool enough to rationalize 180 miles. You'd have to charge it every single night. Audi already has the pathetic range market. It's just a city car. Until they get to Lucid, BMW, and Benz motor efficiency and range, there's no point. 350+ miles, and no Chinese and Congolese earth metals or magnets.

Your bias is starting to show a little bit. You never review Teslas and you never even mention them when talking about competitors.
