I love your yellow van! Yellow is such a bright cheerful colour I've done rust repair and restoration, what you have to remember is... if you have a rusty hole, in a year or two... you will still have a rusty hole! Enjoy having the van and your van life adventure. If it's passing the road worthy test, it's all good

Every night before I go to sleep I am going to wish that Molly finds a nice safe resting spot for the evening. Don't forget to get your membership at gym that is open for 24 hours, seems like a necessity for van life. So proud to see you reach the first milestone as a Youtuber, can't wait to see you reach 100k, hopefully you still remember us when you get to the 1M mark. . . If Molly was a company, I would definitely but stock in it right now.

"Shine on you crazy diamond"

maybe get a can of bear spray to make you feel safer sleeping in there, not sure if they have it in Hawaii though but something like that, there are some good comments on here about cheap diy ways to deal with the rust, rust converters and bondo or fiberglass filler basically, but then maybe you want to let your artistic endeavors flow on to the outside and hand paint your van

That rust is easy fix, if you are artistic, auto-body comes natural. You sand off the rust, then epoxy prime, then add any filler to make smooth, then prime again, then paint, then blend. 1 million videos on here how to DIY for under $100. Look up video "How to do Auto Body Repair and Paint with NO air compressor" by hacknpack - pay attention, you'll do fine

You could learn to fix the rust yourself and get it vinyl wrapped for 5k or paint it yourself for a few hundred dollars. You need to find a place to do it, but you will feel really connected to the van when you’re done.

Do not waste your money trying to fix that van, you will if eventually get something different period get some "Eastwood's" rust converter paint and spray directly on the rust and then go to home depot and buy one of the prettiest matching yellow paints you can find and spray over the rust converter then just leave the rust holes there it adds character and the cost would be crazy to fix that... If you ever have some extra time buy some 2000 grit sandpaper and send down the whole thing and then put wax on point the color will be much vibrant. Save your money for your next van 😊

in order to hold cutains against the frame, use some magnets, similar to the ones you have on a refrigerator's door. that worked for me! hugs pretty girl!

Bear in mind, the newness of van life will wear off quickly and the drudgery of van life will set in. Good luck.

Am I reading the notes right? Are you actually moving into the van, or is it just a one night thing for funsies? I am kind of worried, should I be?

Greetings from S.W. Florida I'm glad your channel was brought to my attention...you remind me of people that I met while travelling across North America all 49 states..but not Hawaii. Longest trip was in1972, Chicago to Anchorage to Newport Beach then Old Route 66 back to Chicago, in a 1963 V.W. bug. You have a cool personality and are fun to watch and listen to. I'll be sure to follow your adventures. AS Muddy Waters said "You can't spend what you ain't got and you can't lose what you never had. Take care of youself and good luck with your channel. 😎🧜‍♀️

i Bondo'd rust holes in my car when i was in high school, i had no clue what i was doing but it worked out great and wasnt hard, you could easily do this yourself, maybe they make even better stuff than Bondo these days?
