What I do is take 5-10 percent of every paycheck and go to the gold exchange on the weekend and just look at all the pretty shiny things lol! It’s a fun hobby and it’s a great was to preserve your money!

This is sensible advice. It's common to suggest something like 10% to 15% of a portfolio in Gold. If a person has a mortgage they will probably have a lot of their wealth in property, then if they have a pension and savings it's going to be in stocks and bonds and traditional bank accounts. It's worth doing the math and working it out.

My new strategy is 6% company match 401k. + 1000 to 1500 swap every month. silver one month than gold 1 month than extra on the house payment!!! Hopefully this is a well rounded plan.
