We Love this Movement (NH35)

The Seiko NH35 has been a workhorse of a mechanical movement for as long as we can remember. Affordable and reliable. Let's take a closer look at what makes this movement so great.

When it comes to cheaper movements this is absolutely the king no doubt, very well made by Seiko, very easy to work on(other than their magic winding mechanism), they are stupid reliable and very common

I have one in a Pagani design. Runs great, even survived the washing machine and 1400rpm centrifuge 😂

I agree. I love the NH35A movement. Mine run 30 seconds fast every day and it doesnt even bother me.
They are just dependable and affordable. Just case em up and go.

Never had any issues over several NH35/4R35 watches. Great movt and keeps the price at a point where you can grab a few different watches for a laugh.

When winding the watch manually, should it get stuck in a certain place? Mine keeps spinning. is this normal

the problem is when 70% of my watches have this movement or similar varient

mine stopped ticking only minutes after putting it together: the seconds arm always stops around the 3 HOUR mark of the dial. I never cranked it. if I do I can get it running for around 3 minutes. What could be the problem?

Its better to have a solid caseback. Movement is fantastic. Just not to look at
