Both the flatspots and wheel resistance on slides can be fixed by formula four. Seriously that urethane is crazy and I dont know how it exists.

The holes where the board attaches to the trucks should be sleeved with metal, trucks are simple and for this reason I think they should stay the same, because simplicity is the key to durability.

I used to skate as a kid back in Poland. Moved to Australia as a teen and kind of stopped pursuing learning the tricks and just started longboarding downhill and surfing. This video has kinda inspired me to pick up the board again at almost 32 years old 😎🤙🏼

I used to skate and my shoes never made my feet hurt, now that I’ve stopped skating and now I rock climb I can assure that skating shoes feel like clouds

So this is an "old man" hack: If your shoes are hurting your feet get new insoles. You have to try a ton of different ones to find ones that work well, which can get expensive, but it is well worth it long run. First thing I do when I get a new set of shoes is get insoles for them.

The absolute truth, I loved skateboarding for many years and still miss it to this day. It’s a hard and painful sport to learn people need to recognize that! It’s expensive but saved my life.

I agree so much with the holes for trucks and non abrasive griptape. But…then I can’t make clear griptape designs anymore with the non-abrasive grip. Also I rarely rip laces but it’s never been a problem when I do since Converse Cons come with an extra set or two usually.

i was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, which basically means a tenon on the bottom of my food gets little micro tears every time i stand up, get out of a card, jump etc. as you might imagine it made skating hell, eventually forcing me to quit entirely. so yeah, the invention of some comfortable skate shoes would be sick
