Pray the Stations of the Cross with Fr. Mark Toups

Rather than meditating about Christ’s journey to the cross, pray with him.

Jesus, as an observant Jewish man, would have prayed the Psalms throughout the day, and drawn strength and peace from them.

Fr. Toups invites us to step closer to Christ and pray beside him, drawing strength from Scripture during his last moments before the crucifixion.

A most beautiful and heartfelt reflection on the Way of the Cross. A year ago we never knew we would still be enduring this 'cross' of the pandemic, I am eternally grateful for the resources available online. My faith has deepened over this past year as I continue to draw closer to the heart of Jesus with the help of great spiritual guides like Fr Toups and Fr Mike. Thank you all at Ascension Presents for feeding your sheep and helping to walk us all home to the Father.

Thank you for this, unbeknownst to me I went to confession for the first time in 19 yrs. and I texted my daughter to tell her and she and her whole Catholic school was going to church to do the Stations of the Cross today She has fallen away from God, was it a coincidence that I decided on a whim to do this today unbeknownst to me that she was doing this today at school. I walked out of church and the church bells were ringing and I recorded it and sent it to her and told her what I did, and I was surprised that she said the bells sounded really cool. God is good, I pray she feels the Holy Spirit today.
