I love how LAYERED this is, there's so many implications to this, especially in the beginning when Batter looks actually terrified/scared. You can take it as him being terrified FOR Hugo because he's sick and in constant pain, but you can also interpret it as him being horrified of what he's done, especially with the last shot being him holding Hugo in his arms. Augh this is so beautiful I'm gonna watch this on repeat now.

The "Lord give me one more chance" part is especially haunting considering that Hugo is the creator the Batter and the Queen and is basically the God of the world of OFF.
It feels as though the Batter is begging Hugo for another chance or another way to help him.
At the same time it's also as if the Batter is begging the player to give him another option [even though we all know there isn't one].🥺

I see that most of those who recommended this video don't know what "OFF" is, so I'll try to explain a bit (Warning, I won't do important Spoilers, but I don't recommend reading if you don't want to know anything about the game before playing ) OFF is considered a cult game in the small and underground circle of the RPG maker game community along with other greats like Omori, Yume Nikki, Mad Father and etcetera. The story is a bit "abstract" but very interesting. The game itself presents you, the player, as the "puppeteer", and you have the mission to help your new puppet to fulfill its sacred mission, said mission will embark you in a surreal world where logic itself does not exist, and you will face all the evils that corrupt the world. Your adventure will take you through different zones where you can travel in order to complete your objective. the game is amazing, great characters, great art, great setting, great soundtrack and most importantly great story. I definitely recommend playing it, it's not very long and it's also totally free, also if you come from other RPG games like Omori, Undertale, Deltarune or Earthbound, you'll like this game a lot.
